In recent time, Radonova’s high standards and product excellence has been rewarded with significant contracts from national authorities in regard to radon measurement.

Polish government launches one of the biggest ever radon surveys in Europe

In Poland, public awareness about the health implications of radon exposure is very low. Being one of the most populated countries in Europe, Poland is undoubtedly a country where radon measurement opportunities will rise in the coming years. To commence a radon measurement strategy and build a large database, in the summer of 2020 the Polish government commissioned a large project involving 40,000 detectors over a four-year period and chose Radonova as a supplier for delivering the project.

“This kind of national survey is very important as it will raise awareness among the population. In participating in this project, Radonova is building the foundations for the future to ensure people are aware of the dangers of radon,” said Zuzanna Podgórska, Radon measurement advisor for Radonova in Poland.

Radonova selected in two new national tenders in 2021

Due to the experience of the Polish tender and past participation in successful tenders in England, Estonia, and Serbia, Radonova has also been recently selected as the main partner for supplying detectors for national radon authorities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

“Even though the number of detectors we will be supplying is lower than in Poland, we are very proud and thankful to the FANQ in Belgium and RIVM in the Netherlands for the trust they have put in the company. Being involved in national tenders has always been one of our top priorities as it strengthens our position as a global leader, commercial partner and industry expert,” concludes Thomas Chauvin, responsible for sales in Belgium and The Netherland.
